STEP CLASS
A great cardio workout to get the heart rate up and the blood pumping! Jump, step, knee and curl your way to a fitter, healthier you! Perfect for all levels of fitness.
You can either mix/match and create your own class below OR you can let us run the class for 45min (like a class at the gym).
STEP CLASS (45 MIN)
This is our current step class that we were teaching in the gym, it has a few of your favourite songs and new choreography. We focus on the quads, the butt, the hamstrings and a whole lot of cardio. This class lasts for 45 minutes, just press play and you’re good to go.
As we move through the class remember impact is optional as are the more advanced moves! Choose a level that works for you! This is after all, YOUR class!

01. CREATE YOUR CLASS: WARM UP
Pick your favourite warm up to start your class
WARM UP TRACK 01: 1999
Firstly let’s warm up. We want all the muscles we’re about to use to be warm and ready to go. We don’t want to push to hard through the warm up track, remember we are just easing into this!

02. CREATE YOUR CLASS: STEP CLASSICS
We recommend doing about x5 of the below tracks per workout
STEP TRACK 01: DIE YOUNG
Track two, we want to start to lift the intensity. As we move through the class remember impact is optional as are the more advanced moves!

STEP TRACK 02: SQUAT PULSE
This is our strength track. It’s got lots of squats, lots of pulses and lots of lunges. You’ll really feel the burn in this one, but try to keep it high energy for as long as you can!!
Equipment needed: Step, risers (feel free to lower your step for this one!)
STEP TRACK 03: LOVING HIM WAS RED
This one is a member favourite (and an instructor favourite). You’ll be using both sides of the bench and we’ll be adding power to both our single knees and squat jumps.

STEP TRACK 04: BAD GUY
Again a popular track thats super high energy and lots of fun! We work in some big compound moves that will have your heart rate right up, and then we add in some squat pulses to really get the legs burning!!

STEP TRACK 05: LION KING FAVOURITE
This is the last track in our current choreography! We always finish with something fun. Its slight less intense then your last two tracks, perfect to wrap up the cardio track of the class today! If you’ve been saving any energy, THIS is when to use it, its your last cardio track - ENJOY it!!

STEP TRACK 06: SWING
Swing is an all time member favourite. Its from our old choreography but its so much fun we had to add it to our online library! The moves can be a little tricky but if you talk it through you’ll get it in the end - just in time to change directions ;)

STEP TRACK 07: SEE YOU AGAIN
I love this track, its fun and funky and a whole lot of fun! I think you’ll love it too!!

STEP TRACK 08: TRIBAL DANCE
For those of you that know tribal dance will know it needs no introduction. For those of you that don’t know, let’s just say its HIGH INTENSITY.

03. CREATE YOUR CLASS: CORE/AB TRACK

CORE TRACK 01:
All you’ll need for this one is your yoga mat! We' are down for our core track, which means we get a little lie down (even if not for long). Think about your control throughout the track, minimise as you need to, try to to stop altogether!!

04. CREATE YOUR CLASS: COOL DOWN/STRETCH
Don’t forget to stretch! That way you’ll be able to walk tomorrow
COOL DOWN TRACK
This is where we calm right down, breathe a little slower, and allow our heart rate to come down again. Feel free to close your eyes and take in some nice deep breaths.
Equipment needed: Yoga mat + strap (towel, tie - what ever you’ve got!)
